Thursday Clubs
Our Clubs afternoons continue to be very popular. These are enrichment activities which are provided by teachers, parents and other members of our school community.
A typical Clubs afternoon would feature many of the following activities:-
- Baking
- Food preparation
- Crafts
- Gardening
- Eco-textiles
- Ranger Dan's forestry club
- Sewing
- Lego WeDo - building and programming lego models
- STEM
- Yoga
- Board games
- Origami

Pupil voice questionnaires regularly show that Clubs afternoons are pupils' favourite activities. Working in mixed-aged groups of approximately nine, pupils have the opportunity to develop their friendships and relationships with children that they would not usually have the opportunity to work alongside. Older children develop leadership skills and the experience adds to the 'family-feel' of the school.
